Basic game properties

It's a shame that the Book of the Fallen slot is also inspired by old games in terms of numbers. We have 5 reels, only three columns, and a relatively poor 10 fixed winning lines. This is at least somewhat compensated for by the fact that some symbols pay for just 2 appearances on the reels.

Winnings are paid out as usual, from left to right. Or rather, winning combinations must start on the first reel on the left and the other symbols must be chained to the other reels to the right. It's just a shame there aren't more winning lines. A top ten is already more or less below average for today's times.

The controls are adapted to mobile devices, which is great. All buttons are large and easy to operate without unnecessary clicks. The good thing is that you can finally set your total bet directly and you don't have to (but can) do so via coin values and such. There are 10 freespins for 3 books. Before triggering them, you must choose one symbol, which will represent a special expanding symbol during the freespins. This expansion means that if special symbols appear on the reels, potential wins for the symbols on the reels are evaluated first, and after they are paid out, these special symbols can expand to cover the entire reel. They are evaluated regardless of whether they are adjacent or start on the first reel from the left. The expansion will not always occur. Buy it does occur if a sufficient number of special symbols are present to win. During freespins, an additional 10 freespins can be awarded if 3 or more BOOK symbols appear on the reels.
